At Big Sound Marketing, we pride ourselves on our ability to bring events to life with innovative and impactful ideas. Our approach is centred around creativity, engagement, and delivering memorable experiences that resonate with audiences. One of our standout projects exemplifies this perfectly: our collaboration with Popbang Colour, led by the talented artist Ian Cook.
Popbang Colour brings a unique artistic vision, using remote control and toy cars to create vibrant and dynamic artworks. This unconventional method has attracted the attention of major car manufacturers such as Audi and Aston Martin, as well as iconic brands like Hot Wheels. Bespoke pieces have also been created for Richard Hammond, the renowned presenter from Grand Tour and Top Gear.
In 2021, Big Sound Marketing commissioned Popbang Colour to create three exclusive pieces of art to celebrate the launch of the New Generation DAF trucks at Truckfest Peterborough. This live event was a testament to our commitment to innovative marketing solutions. Ian used a 1:87 scale model of the New Generation DAF truck to paint, captivating the audience with his creative process.
The resulting artworks are now proudly displayed at DAF Trucks UK’s head office in Haddenham.
